We repair bodywork on cars and light commercial vehicles — from a parking scrape to a full restoration after a traffic accident. Our workshop is in Koper, and we've been working on the coast for over 25 years.
We work with all insurance companies. If your damage is covered by insurance, you don't need to visit assessment centres yourself — we handle the claim and the estimate for you; you just bring in the vehicle.

All types of bodywork damage
With bodywork damage, the difference between repairing and replacing a part is often several hundred euros. That's why we look at every case first — a lot of what looks like it needs replacing can actually be repaired.

We only carry out mechanical work when it's directly related to the bodywork — for example a shock absorber or radiator damaged in an accident. Our specialisation is bodywork, so we don't perform standalone mechanical repairs such as engine part repair or replacement.

Initial estimate
Send us photos of the damage through our form, or stop by the workshop. Based on the photos we can tell you whether it's likely to be a repair or a replacement, and roughly what to expect.

Vehicle inspection
For an exact figure we need to see the vehicle. A photo shows the shape of the damage but not its depth, the condition of the paint underneath, or what's behind it. The inspection takes a few minutes and is free.

Filing the claim and estimate
If the damage is covered by insurance, we handle the claim and the estimate. You fill in the damage report form with your insurer and name us as the repair provider — we take care of everything else. More on the process: insurance claims.

Disassembly and any additional estimate
The real extent of the damage only becomes clear once we start disassembly. Bent structural panels or a damaged bumper mount don't show up in photos. If we find more than was estimated, we file a supplementary estimate — and only continue once the insurer confirms it. You're never handed a bill you didn't know was coming.

Bodywork
Panel straightening, replacement of damaged parts, welding, and renewing anti-corrosion protection on every area we work on.

Painting
Preparation and painting take place in our own paint shop. We determine the colour from your vehicle's paint code and match it to the condition of the existing paint. More: auto painting.

Reassembly, inspection and handover
We reassemble the vehicle, check panel alignment and gaps, and polish the treated surfaces if needed. You'll pick up your vehicle washed and ready.
How long your vehicle will be with us
A fair number only exists once we've seen the vehicle. The timeframe depends on the extent of the damage, parts availability, drying and shade-matching time if painting is involved, and how busy the workshop is — after a storm, or during our busiest months, the wait is longer than usual.
That's why we don't promise a deadline over the phone in advance. We give it to you once the estimate is confirmed — and if anything changes during the work, we call you before the deadline passes.

Cost of bodywork repair
There's no fixed price list for bodywork — two dents of the same size can cost very differently to fix. The price depends on:

From photos we can give you a rough idea, but for an exact figure we need to see the vehicle. This isn't an excuse — a guess given over the phone is often too low, which doesn't help anyone. The inspection is free and doesn't take long.
If you're filing a claim with your insurer, it's worth knowing one more thing: when your deductible (known in Slovenia as franšiza) is close to the cost of the repair, filing a claim is often not worth it, because on top of the excess it also affects your no-claims bonus. Tell us the amount of your deductible and we'll tell you honestly — even when the answer is not to file a claim.
